Join us online for our semi-annual Member Briefing on Wednesday 30 April at 11am (AEST). This is your opportunity to hear updates from the ResiLoop team, including CEO Sophi MacMillan, on scheme progress, strategy, and financial performance—and to contribute your feedback in our Q&A session.
We’re also excited to welcome Professor Alice Payne, Dean of the School of Fashion and Textiles at RMIT, as our guest speaker. Alice will share her insights on “Designing for Circularity”, drawing from her work on sustainable product design, textile waste solutions, and her role in shaping Australia’s National Clothing Product Stewardship Scheme (Seamless).

This membership allows businesses that specify and install resilient floorcoverings anywhere in Australia to actively contribute to our Circularity Support Fund.
Contributions from ResiLoop Supporters directly accelerate our research and development efforts, enabling us to expand geographically, recycle additional flooring materials, and advance circularity in the resilient flooring industry.

What a fantastic day at Floor Covering Institute of Australia - FCIA's FloorTech event! It was great to connect with so many industry go-getters.
A big thank you to Fiona Wischnewski and Brett Sturgess, MJS Floorcoverings, for organising such an excellent event!
It was especially nice to see some of our Collection Points, Premrest, Cotter Floors, Trump Floorcoverings, Moorabbin Carpet Court (Will Kewley) and some of our Members also in attendance. It was also terrific to meet some new faces including potential partners for our R&D projects. It's inspiring to witness the industry coming together as a whole, united in our commitment to drive positive change. Well done Team Flooring! ​

Driving Change: Expanding Our Reach to Promote Waste-Reduction in the Flooring Industry

We are pleased to welcome Andrew Lewis, Simon Lovett, and their team at the Chillingworth Training Institute (CTI) as ResiLoop’s newest Collection Point. The CTI in conjunction with the Newfurn Training Academy, provides essential training for floor technicians working for Choices Flooring and Style Flooring & Interiors stores across Australia and New Zealand. Their offerings include an Apprenticeship Program for new installers and Master Class sessions for ongoing skill development.

The CTI is now set up as a Registered Collection Point for ResiLoop, allowing participants in their training programs to be inducted in the ResiLoop program and to learn how they can participate. This partnership is an important step for ResiLoop, expanding its reach and promoting waste-reduction practices within the flooring industry.

We’re proud to welcome Brendan Macdonald and his team at Macdonald Flooring as our latest Registered Collection Point!

Brendan is an industry stalwart and has been with us since the very beginning of ResiLoop’s journey. As one of the original signatories of the Collective Action Statement in 2021, he recognised early on that industry practices need to change. Now, as an official Collection Point, Macdonald Flooring is helping us further expand our recycling efforts and recover more resilient flooring materials.

With Macdonald Flooring on board, we’re not only increasing our capacity to recycle but also reinforcing our commitment to creating a sustainable future for the flooring industry together.
